Urbanmount ProjectCare Terms
Urbanmount ProjectCare is a limited property-issue benefit for eligible Urbanmount Services. Urbanmount offers it at no additional charge as a discretionary Customer-resolution program.
ProjectCare is not insurance, coverage, a warranty, a service contract, or a guarantee. Its dollar amounts are maximum possible assistance, not promised payments. No Pro, Store, support representative, or other person may promise approval or an amount.
1. Eligible Services
ProjectCare applies only when the Customer's Service Details identify this ProjectCare version and the Service is completed and paid. The Customer may give timely notice while a multi-visit Service is still in progress so the notice deadline does not expire before the last visit. Urbanmount cannot approve eligibility, value, or a remedy until the Service is completed.
A reference in Service Details, an article, marketing page, or an old SafeStay link does not by itself create eligibility or submit a ProjectCare request.
The Customer must follow the accepted Service terms, give accurate scope and property information, provide safe access, preserve reasonable evidence, take reasonable steps to prevent additional loss, and cooperate with the review.
2. Issues Urbanmount may consider
Urbanmount may consider:
- direct physical damage to eligible Customer property caused during the accepted field Service; and
- verified intentional theft by an assigned Pro during that Service.
ProjectCare does not apply to:
- personal or bodily injury;
- ordinary Service quality or reperformance;
- delay, loss of use, lost income, or consequential loss;
- normal wear, preexisting conditions, inherent defects, or gradual deterioration;
- expected or unavoidable results of the accepted work;
- Customer or third-party conduct;
- unlawful property; or
- matters outside the accepted Service and work area.
An unexplained disappearance or inventory shortage is not verified theft. Urbanmount may require a timely police report or documented law-enforcement refusal, proof of ownership and value, access and last-seen information, and other supporting evidence.
3. Maximum assistance
The most ProjectCare may provide is $2,000 for all eligible property issues arising from one Service and related occurrence.
Within that same $2,000 total, the most available for verified theft is $1,000. The theft amount is not additional to the $2,000 maximum.
There is no separate dollar limit for ordinary brittle materials. Eligible glass, mirror, tile, stone, porcelain, plaster, and similar damage share the same $2,000 total. Fine art, antiques, collectibles, rare materials, and property valued mainly for rarity, history, origin, or sentiment may be excluded or valued without sentimental or speculative value.
4. One Service and related occurrence
One $2,000 maximum applies across all eligible items, visits, assigned Pros, claimants, callbacks, reperformances, accepted changes, and losses that share a common event, a continuous or repeated substantially similar cause, unresolved damage, or corrective work for one Service.
The maximum does not stack by item, visit, Pro, or person. Causally independent Services may have separate maximums. ProjectCare does not impose an annual or lifetime household maximum.
5. Notice deadlines
The Customer must give initial notice within 72 hours after the Customer knew or reasonably should have known of the property issue. In every case, Urbanmount must receive initial notice no later than 21 calendar days after the final visit for the Service and related occurrence.
Damage that is visible is ordinarily discoverable by the end of the affected visit. A concealed loss does not include a preexisting or inherent latent defect.
The notice should identify the Service, affected property, discovery time, known facts, requested help, and available photos, receipts, estimates, police records, messages, and other evidence. Urbanmount may set reasonable later deadlines for a claim form or requested evidence, but a later support article cannot shorten the initial notice deadlines above.
Give notice through Urbanmount Support or support@urban-mount.com. A link or reference in Service Details is not required to preserve timely notice. For an immediate threat or emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service first.
6. Evidence and cooperation
The Customer must preserve the affected property and reasonable evidence, prevent avoidable additional damage, allow a reasonable inspection or estimate, provide truthful ownership and condition information, disclose other recoveries, and cooperate in determining cause and value.
Urbanmount may review Service Details, Work Orders, communications, arrival and completion information, media, estimates, repair records, payment and refund records, reports from the Customer and Pro, and other relevant information. A police report may support a theft request but does not by itself prove eligibility.
7. Valuation and remedy
ProjectCare is repair-first. Urbanmount may arrange or pay for a reasonable safe repair, provide a comparable replacement, reimburse an approved documented repair, or offer cash. Platform credit requires the Customer's written choice.
The value is limited to reasonable repair cost. If repair is unsafe, impracticable, or uneconomic, the limit is the property's depreciated value immediately before the loss based on like kind, quality, age, condition, function, depreciation, and obsolescence. The lower applicable amount controls and can never exceed supported pre-loss value or the program maximum.
ProjectCare does not pay for betterment, appreciation, sentimental value, value based on an item's history or origin, speculative matching, or replacement of undamaged property solely to create perfect uniformity. Necessary ordinary tax or standard shipping for an approved remedy counts inside the maximum.
8. Other payments and no double recovery
The Customer must disclose an insurer payment, Store refund, Pro payment, chargeback, settlement, warranty remedy, or other recovery for the same loss. Urbanmount may reduce ProjectCare assistance to prevent double recovery.
As a condition of assistance, Urbanmount may require a receipt, release, assignment, subrogation right, authorization, cooperation, or other document reasonably related to the issue. To the extent Urbanmount pays or provides value, it may pursue or take over the Customer's corresponding recovery rights against a Pro, Store, insurer, carrier, manufacturer, service provider, or other responsible person, and the Customer must not impair those rights. Urbanmount may recover a payment made in error or based on fraud, material omission, misrepresentation, duplicate recovery, or ineligibility. Urbanmount will not obtain more than one recovery for the same loss.
9. Who decides
Urbanmount has sole discretion to approve, deny, value, condition, or select the form of ProjectCare assistance through personnel it authorizes. No Pro, Store, support representative, or other person may promise a result or bind Urbanmount.
Urbanmount reviews each request individually and documents the relevant evidence, cause, value, other recovery, decision, amount, and remedy. Urbanmount may reconsider a decision based on material new evidence or clear error, but ProjectCare does not promise a formal appeal.
10. Other rights
ProjectCare is separate from the Customer-Pro Service relationship, a Pro's insurance, a Store product warranty, a payment refund, and a chargeback. A ProjectCare decision does not determine responsibility under a Service agreement, insurance policy, Store warranty, payment dispute, or applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms waives a right or remedy that controlling law does not allow the parties to waive.
11. Program changes
The ProjectCare version identified for a Service continues to govern that Service and related occurrence. A later version does not reduce or rewrite the earlier Service's terms. A material future change applies only to new Services under the applicable notice and agreement rules.
